Learning Platform

You can start at any time, and pause and resume whenever you wish through our convenient online managed learning system.

Every course is structured into several lessons, with a quiz or simulator skills test at the end of each one.  Within each lesson, you will step through tutorial pages, view animations, and practice your new skills with interactive simulators.  The learning system tracks all the lessons and pages you have completed; if you leave a lesson and come back, the learning system will return you to the page you were last viewing.

Quizzes, skills tests, and exams are scored instantly.

SatProf makes extensive use of tailored simulators (especially 3D) to teach and assess students on critical skills. The technology of a common code base for interactive simulators for tutorials, practice, and assessment is unique to SatProf.

First, the student is introduced to the simulator and the skill to be learned is explained in a tutorial format.

Later, the student is given an opportunity to practice their skill with the same simulator.  They have unlimited tries and receive feedback after each try.

At the end of the lesson, the same simulator is presented to the student in "Skills Test" mode.  The student must pass the skills test to pass the lesson.

Every student has their own account. When they log in, they use choose their activity from their dashboard. They can resume a course at the exact point that they left it in their last session, or they can go into their Training Membership and browse to resume another course or to self-enroll in new courses.
