What is a training membership?

SatProf invites you to take advantage of continuing education as an ongoing resource in your professional life and for your career development. To help, we offer a Training Membership program which gives you 24/7 access to almost all SatProf courses for one year at the low annual cost of US $449 (renewable) – and discounts are available.  Your active Training Membership subscription will give you:

  • Access to over 25 in-depth technical, business, and engineering courses specializing in all aspects of space and satellite communications. Browse the list here .
  • All certification exams (Note: required on-site prerequisites, if any, such as Hands On Skills Tests, are not included).
  • All recertification exams.
  • Continued access to any premium (non Training Membership) courses that you were separately enrolled in.
  • Permanent record of your course status, transcripts, and certifications.

You can enroll in your Training Membership yourself or through your organization. When you log in, you will see an annual membership curriculum in your courses list on your dashboard. Open the curriculum and launch the course you want to start or continue! It’s that simple. 

(Note: some Training Membership courses and exams have prerequisites and are not shown in the curriculum. If you want to enroll in one of those, just contact us. We will confirm that your prerequisites are complete and get you enrolled by the next business day.)

Note: a few things are not included in the Training Membership:

  • HOST and any other on-site classes or sessions. In most cases, you will contact the instructor directly to make arrangements for paying fees.
  • Certain premium courses. See the complete course catalog for details. You can purchase most of these directly from the shopping cart after you log in.
  • SBCA courses, such as for DirecTV.

How do I get started?

Click below to enroll in an annual Training Membership with your credit card and get started immediately. If you already have a GVF Training or SBQ student account, be sure to enter that information when you check out.  You will get your login information by email right away. As soon as you are enrolled in your Training Membership, you can log in and start on your first course immediately.

Are discounts available?

Yes!  We offer:

  • A 50% discount for students from specific developing countries.  Click here to see if you qualify.
  • Discounts for orders of 10 or more seats, with an additional A 10% discount for GSOA and SSPI members. Click here to request a quotation.
  • Site licenses, which simplify training enrollments for your organization, for a flat annual fee. Click here to request a quotation.
